God Himself Is Judge
A Psalm of aAsaph.
1 bThe Mighty One, God the Lord, speaks and summons the earth
cfrom the rising of the sun to its setting.
2Out of Zion, dthe perfection of beauty,
eGod shines forth.
3 Our God comes; he fdoes not keep silence; ▼
▼Or May our God come, and not keep silence
before him is a devouring hfire,
around him a mighty tempest.
4 iHe calls to the heavens above
and to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5“Gather to me my faithful ones,
who made ja covenant with me by sacrifice!”
6 kThe heavens declare his righteousness,
for lGod himself is judge! Selah

The Final Judgment
31 u“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, vthen he will sit on his glorious throne. 32Before him wwill be gathered xall the nations, and yhe will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates zthe sheep from the goats.John 5:21-22
21For as the Father aaraises the dead and abgives them life, so acalso the Son gives life adto whom he will. 22 aeFor the Father judges no one, but afhas given all judgment to the Son,
